Commenting on the passing of Motion 25 at the Annual Conference of the National Education Union, Kevin Courtney, Joint General Secretary of the National Education Union, said:
“Our movement is strongest when we collectivise and work together to improve not just our education system but society as a whole. The NEU will continue to work closely with sister unions that represent educators to campaign for increased education funding, a new alternative to Ofsted and the expansion of free school meals for all.”
