"We welcome the swift action taken by Neath Port Talbot Council in closing the school so swiftly. No one in Wales would want to risk the lives of learners or the school staff in that way.
"However, more information is needed so that staff and students alike know if they will be coming back in September. What work is being done on the land-slip risk? When will everyone be allowed back into the school to pick up their personal belongings?
"NEU Cymru would expect to have been consulted about this during the decision to close the school. More information is needed for all at the school in terms of a plan of action and access to the building in the next few weeks and months. We look forward to working in partnership with the local authority on the next steps."
