The UKLA and NEU are pleased to announce a third joint conference on Literacy in Primary Classrooms, taking place on Saturday 13th September at Hamilton House.
Primary and early years members will find great ideas for their classrooms and discover the ways current policy can be challenged through research and critique.
There will be a variety of workshops from experienced teachers, academics and organisations on a range of topics, including:
- Adaptive practice in the inclusive classroom
- Unlocking phonological awareness in the early years
- Writing and reading for pleasure and purpose
- Digital literacy
- Creative approaches, such as poetry and drama
NEU members can also ask their districts to sponsor their attendance by asking for their travel and accommodation costs to be covered.
Tickets are priced at £10, and there is high demand, so we recommend booking early.
