In this session, Ross McGill known globally as @TeacherToolkit will demonstrate why teachers should do less, not more, to become truly effective. 

The session will show how balance can be achieved so that all teachers can achieve professional autonomy. 

Learning outcomes: 

  • Understand how effective assessment informs planning, supports progress and helps students value learning.
  • Design lessons with ‘stickability’ -  ensuring key knowledge is retained over time.
  • Develop strategies that strengthen long-term learning.
