Today the education unions have come together to highlight the crisis for children with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) in Welsh schools.
They said:
"The ALN system is in crisis. More funding and support if needed to ensure that children with Additional Learning Needs can access school and learning, alongside their peers.
"We have shared the challenges in our schools with the Welsh Government. But it is time for action.
"It is critical that the next Welsh Government makes education a priority, and provides the right support for all our learners."
