Leadership masterclass: Coaching others

This is an online leadership masterclass aimed at those in middle and senior leadership positions or those who lead a team.

This session is an hour long and will explore the concept of using coaching in your role as a leader in your setting. This workshop is suitable for those who are middle leaders or manage and lead a team and are interested in developing their skills and knowledge in coaching others.

The sessions will cover:

• Reflect on the differences between mentoring and coaching
• Consider the impact of coaching on the individual - personally and professionally
• Review different coaching models
• Discuss how to create a coaching culture in your team/ school

Hannah Wilson is a Leadership Development consultant, coach and trainer. She is the Founder/ Director of a DEIB training provider called The Belonging Effect. She is the Co-Founder of #WomenEd #DiverseEd and the Co-Editor of Diverse Educators: A Manifesto and author of Cultivating Belonging in Schools. She previously taught English, Drama and Media Studies over a 20 year career in schools. She has held multiple leadership roles including Head of Department, Head of Year, Assistant/ Deputy/ Executive Headteacher and trust-wide/ Teaching School wide roles as well. She has been a governor and a trustee in multiple settings, including being the Chair of the trust board.
