Workplace representation

Our network of workplace reps is at the heart of what we do as a union. Your rep is there to represent you in the workplace and to offer you advice and support. The NEU has reps in schools and colleges across the country, standing up for members like you.

Advice and guidance

Equality is a key priority of the union, to ensure that its members have a voice in the union, in the classroom and in broader society, and do not face barriers to promotion, representation or participation. We believe that all children and young people should have equal access to a good school and an education system which treats staff and those they teach fairly.

Whether you need guidance about your employment rights or help with problems such as workload, bullying or accidents at work, with the NEU’s unrivalled network of workplace reps, and branches, regional offices and NEU Cymru, as well as an expert legal team and online help and advice, you can always find the help you need. We have a dedicated AdviceLine with professional advisers.
