Annual leave
Employees receive a minimum of 33 days annual leave, plus eight days for public holidays and four additional closure days at Christmas. These will be pro-rata for part-time employees.

The NEU offers all employees a generous CARE pension scheme.

The NEU offers a childcare allowance towards the cost of childcare for up to two children under twelve years old.

Life assurance
Employees in the pension scheme are automatically enrolled in the life assurance scheme. Nominated dependents will receive four times an employee’s annual salary should they die whilst employed by the NEU.
