This year’s NEU Supply Conference will be taking place at the Radisson Hotel Manchester City Centre from 27-28 June.

29/06/26 - This session offers insights into the potential and pitfalls of talking a philosophical approach to talk about race and racism in the primary classroom.

The next Retired Members’ Conference will be held on 8 July 2026, at Mander Hall, Hamilton House. 

08/07/26 - This session will explore why action is needed to empower girls, what students should be able to expect from their school as part of a whole school approach.

09/07/26 - This session will look at how to help children access what’s being taught, respond successfully to questions, and engage with learning at every stage.

13/07/26 - The session will explore dance as a creative subject, introducing a range of strategies and practical tasks to support teachers in feeling confident and empowered to deliver high-quality, engaging primary dance lessons.

14/07/26 - How do we protect pupils’ access to a wide range of literature?

15/07/26 - This session highlights how creativity and critical thinking are essential characteristics of learning across all areas of learning in the early years.
