NEU National CPD

Planning rich learning through books

Join Jon Biddle for an online session exploring two carefully chosen texts: one for Key Stage 1 and one for Key Stage 2.

We'll explore:

  • practical ways to use each book, with ideas for planning a sequence of work, enabling rich classroom discussion and identifying useful assessment opportunities.
  • Inclusive teaching and learning that enables every child to engage.
  • Plenty of practical ideas that you can adapt and use in your own classroom.

Suitable for: primary teachers (including ECTs and trainees) and English subject leaders (primary)
