Climate change is one of the defining issues of our time, yet many feel underprepared to address it with confidence. This practical, research-informed CPD session will equip you with the knowledge, resources and strategies to deliver climate education that inspires hope, builds agency and empowers young people to take meaningful action.

Drawing on current research, student voice and Another Way's Power of 10 programme, this interactive session explores how to challenge common climate misconceptions, address eco-anxiety constructively and create a classroom culture where students feel capable of making a difference.

You'll leave with practical activities, ready-to-use resources and approaches that can be embedded across the curriculum and wider school life.

This session will equip you to:

  • Develop confidence in teaching climate change through a hopeful, solutions-focused approach.
  • Challenge common climate myths and misinformation using evidence-based strategies.
  • Support young people to move from eco-anxiety to agency and positive climate action.
