Lisa is an independent education consultant specialising in behaviour management.  She taught English in mainstream secondary education for seventeen years; establishing her consultancy in 2008.  During her time as a Pastoral Leader she developed effective techniques for providing discreet, sympathetic and practical support for students and staff who had encountered difficulties in the classroom.  She has devised a series of courses which combine the key principles of leading behaviour specialists, body language experts, her own expertise and classroom-based observation and demonstration. Lisa’s classroom management style is non-confrontational using an understanding of behavioural and cognitive approaches to enhance the classroom success of students and teachers.  Lisa regularly guest lectures at universities, schools and Union training sessions across the country and provides discreet and confidential support for individual staff and departments in primary, secondary and further education.
