This free webinar is open to all Early Career Teachers and Trainees, including non-NEU members.
The most common form of poor behaviour is low level disruption. While this can be subjective - what concerns one teacher may not be of concern to another - this webinar will explore those behaviours that, while not overtly challenging or confrontational, can interfere with teaching and learning.
In this session we will cover:
- Essential routines to prevent low-level disruption
- Pro-active behaviour management strategies
- Common issues and how to deal with them
At this session you will learn to:
- Use voice control and body language techniques to influence the behaviour of others
- More confidently employ de-escalation techniques
- Explore a range of strategies to complement your current approach
Suitable for: Early Career Teachers and Trainees (the content is especially useful for KS2 and older but all welcome). This session is free to NEU members and non-members.
(This session will be recorded and available for 14 days. If you are unable to attend, register and receive the recording link. This will be sent the day after the webinar.)
