Aspiring Heads is a social enterprise dedicated to breaking down racial barriers in education in the UK.
Their goal is to increase representation of Black teachers and educators in school leadership, ultimately creating a more inclusive learning environment for all children.
We must, together, tackle the barriers facing Black teachers. There are so many upsides for students from getting the chance to learn from, and be inspired by, teachers with different backgrounds. You can read the NEU’s report into Black teachers’ pay and progression here.
