NEU members had been striking over plans to increase workload and extend the school day. The settlement involves a long list of measures including a guarantee that tutor time will not be extended in future years, nor a sixth period added, proper application of rarely cover provisions, a trial of PPA being completed at home which, if successful, will be introduced across the trust, permanent workload meetings between unions and the trust and a pledge to establish a workload impact assessment process.
