National Disciplinary Committee/National Appeal Committee (NDC/NAC) elections
The NDC/NAC is the committee that hears complaints under rule by union members (as set out in appendix A of the rules). They are important and interesting roles within the democratic structures of the union, with roles ideally suited to retired, experienced local officers. We encourage nominations from underrepresented groups.
Candidates for election to the committee must have been in standard membership of the union within the last ten years. The term of office for NDC/NAC members is four years and elections are required for the next term of office beginning on 1 January 2027.
The executive has agreed the following timetable for these elections:

2026 officers' election results
Voting in the above Elections closed at midday on Monday, 2 March 2026.
Paula Burgin and Joe Flynn were both elected to the vice-presidential positions and Louise Lewis was elected as Membership & Equalities Officer. Hazel Danson was elected unopposed as Treasurer.
