In this session, you’ll discover how learning through film and filmmaking can be embedded meaningfully across all subjects and education phases. We will demonstrate some short film-focused activities, and you will leave with resources to use right away with your students.
By the end of the session, you will be able to:
- Use a simple framework to infer meaning from film, audio and print texts alike
- Use contextual knowledge to embed clues in visual texts
- Understand how to use basic filmmaking techniques to deepen knowledge and creatively consolidate understanding of a topic
