Anti-Racism Educational Study Tour to Warsaw, Krakow and Auschwitz, Poland

Six-day delegation to Poland during the May half term, Sunday 24 - Friday 29 May 2026

The Union is pleased to offer its members, 25 places on a six-day delegation to significant locations in Poland, including Warsaw, Krakow and Auschwitz.

This educational visit follows the success of the Union’s inaugural tour to Poland in May 2025, which marked the 80th anniversary of the liberation of Auschwitz-Birkenau. Due to the overwhelmingly positive feedback from delegates, this tour will now take place annually.

About the Delegation

The NEU has a longstanding affiliation with Stand Up To Racism, a UK organisation that campaigns against racism, fascism, Islamophobia and antisemitism, who are co-organising the tour.

The study tour will be facilitated by David Rosenberg, Julia Bard, and Donny Gluckstein. Julia is a writer and editor specialising in human rights. David is an adult education lecturer, author, tour guide and retired NEU member. Donny is a historian, author and retired lecturer. All three are longstanding anti-racist and antifascist activists and have extensive experience in leading educational visits to Auschwitz.
