This course is for those who have completed the introductory part one representing members in the workplace course.
This course is suitable for branch and district officers and those with responsibility for casework. Reps can attend if they have completed the Reps Foundation course
This part two course will help you understand attendance management and capability policies and procedures and how to effectively represent members facing redundancy or restructure. By considering how we can take a collective approach, you will feel empowered to support members to secure lasting change in the workplace.
You will also consider how we challenge the equality impact of employer approaches to pay and working conditions and look at the barriers facing underrepresented groups in the workplace, as well as considering the trade union response to these challenges.
