Pay campaign

We will be campaigning to win in full increases recommended by the STRB in 2019 for all teachers and for fair pay for all education staff.

The pay scales set nationally by government apply to teachers employed by a local authority or by the governing body of a foundation, voluntary aided or foundation special school. Academies, free schools and independent schools are not legally required to implement the national pay scales - although many base their pay on the national agreement.​
