About the event

This course taps into the necessity to turn the challenges of workload and stress in schools into an opportunity to organise our members

Teacher workload is at an unprecedented high. Stress levels are through the roof and mental health issues in teachers are on the rise.

Participants will learn more about mental health issues and conditions, what the law says about employers and disability and how employment relations can make a difference. We’ll look at the practical steps involved in working collectively to bring about lasting change in the workplace and what you can do to help take care of your own mental health.

This course will not equip you to deal with individual casework but we do offer separate casework training.
