About the event

The aim of this course is to provide theoretical understanding of trauma and attachment and to provide strategies to support these children in the classroom.

The focus is on the importance of child centred, playful relationships and provides strategies that can be implemented throughout school to support children’s social, emotional and mental health needs to positively impact on behaviour.

A combination of experiential activities and theory will be covered with the opportunity to practice play techniques with peers to develop practical tools that they can be used in the classroom.
