Nicaragua Language Teachers Exchange (July-August 2022)

Calling NEU members who are experts in the teaching of Spanish

The NEU is offering a unique opportunity to members who are experts in the teaching of Spanish to secondary school pupils.

We are seeking up to ten members to travel to Nicaragua to share their knowledge and skills with ESL (English as a second language) teachers.

Your expertise in teaching language acquisition will be an invaluable asset.

This is a partnership project between the NEU, ANDEN (the Nicaraguan teachers’ union), the Nicaraguan Ministry of Education and the Nicaragua Solidarity Campaign Action Group.

It’s a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to share your skills and show solidarity with teachers in Nicaragua and to see and experience the country, visit its schools and meet its people.

Click here to download an application. Application must be returned by Friday 22 April 2022.
