Transactional Analysis (TA) is a psychodynamic approach to understanding behaviour and communication in the relational space. In this introductory session, we will explore the core principles in TA and how the range of models and theories in TA can provide a rich language to explore the relational aspects of working in schools.
This session will cover:
- An understanding of the history of TA and its use in the educational field
- An exploration of the TA approach and basic principles
- A consideration of why it is called Transactional Analysis and the benefits to educative practice
