The session will cover 'What Every Teacher Should Know.’ Topics that will be briefly covered include:
• Dual Coding
• Abstract/Concrete representations
• Questioning
• Modelling
• Retrieval
Outcomes:
• You will explore key learning strategies that ‘every teacher should know.’
• You will have received a number of low effort, high impact teaching and learning ideas
• You will have established 1 short, 1 medium and 1 long target to work on

This webinar will be delivered by Amjad Ali, founder of Try this Teaching, a teacher, trainer, TEDx speaker and Senior Leader. He currently works four days a week in a start-up secondary school and offers CPD/INSET on his other day. Amjad has spent his teaching career working in challenging, diverse schools. He is a qualified SENDCO and was also trained as an Advanced Skills Teacher in Teaching and Learning.
