The conference is being organised by the NEU Support Staff National Council (SSNC), made up of support staff members that lead networks across the union engaging in local networking and campaigning activities.

The conference will focus on the debate and selection of a motion for annual conference. Hear a keynote address from NEU joint general secretary Kevin Courtney and take part in an interactive session on Assertiveness & Effective Communication, with Rasheed Ogunlaru of Interchange (People Development)

If you intend to come to the conference on 9 October, and you wish to be considered for election as one of the six guaranteed delegates to annual conference, please send a supporting statement of no more than 200 words to Peter Morris, national official (support staff) no later than Thursday, 23 September.

Please remember that, as a support staff member, you are also entitled to seek election to the annual conference via your district in the normal way.
