The conference will empower supply educators to join together to discuss the issues and injustices in the supply sector and develop effective campaigns to deliver real improvements. There will be workshops on a range of issues including health and well-being on supply, campaigning for National Supply Teacher Provision, the Agency Workers’ Regulations and how to successfully claim for unpaid parity wages.
There will also be discussions to analyse the responses to the 2019 NEU Supply Member Survey and how that will affect the work of the Union for supply colleagues. Please ensure you’ve taken part in the survey, even if you aren’t attending the conference, so your views are included. The survey can be found here.
It will be a great opportunity for supply educators to come together in a safe space to focus on practical solutions to the specific issues and challenges they face every day.
Accommodation and dinner will be provided on Friday 28 June when you will get the chance to meet up and discuss your supply issues with other colleagues in a relaxed environment. The conference will start at 9:30 am on Saturday 29 June and will be finished by 4.30pm.
The conference fee which includes food and accommodation, is paid for by your local district. The Central Events Team will apply to districts on delegates’ behalf.
Applications to attend this conference are now closed.
