The conference is a great opportunity to meet colleagues from the sector, to discuss issues, share experience and learn new things. The hot topic of this years conference will undoubtedly be the threat to the Teachers’ Pension Scheme and what members can do to protect their pensions.

The morning keynote speech is by joint NEU general secretary, Dr Mary Bousted, who among other things will give an insight into the key educational discussions in the corridors of power. In afternoon keynote you will hear how to go about Greening your school. Karen Gracie-Langrick, deputy head, Leighton Park School, Reading, will talk you through her school’s lived experience.
