National Education Union non-academised sixth form college teachers have announced further strike action in their ongoing dispute with the Secretary of State for Education

An unfunded pay award will be disastrous for the profession. Teachers need an adequate, fully funded pay rise now. Your executive has met and made a decision. Our ballot launches on 1 March.

Latest proposals would not prevent a two-tier pay system. In response we have announced further strike dates: Wednesday 29 January, Thursday 6 February and Friday 7 February
